We used the Social Network Addiction Questionnaire by Escurra & Salas (2014), using three dimensions proposed by these authors: obsession, lack of personal control and excessive use of social networks. The sample consisted of 225 high school students from first to fourth grade, enrolled in a private school and a public school in the city of Valdivia, Chile. The results show low levels in the three indicators evaluated.
