As a proof of concept, a real testbed/prototype has been developed to validate our approach. The validation process consisted of two phases: (i) configuration of the JADE/OSGi SIP-AS architecture to provide a televoting service and (ii) characterization and analysis of jitter, packet loss, load capacity and CPU utilization of the implemented architecture. Results demonstrate that this televoting service scales up and out enabling the elasticity of the architecture on the processing of concurrent calls and dynamic load balancing.
