Abstract
The text gives a general account of the different views held on the problems of "ethno- national education" within the Russian society at present. The author starts with an examination of the historical development of ethnic groups as an evolutionary process, and differentiates between the dimensions of ethnicity, language and culture in his ensuing socio- political analysis. (He) holds the view that it is the responsibility of the education system and pedagogy to help every young person to gain a stable ethnic identification.... (DIPF/Abstract übernommen)
