Damages which occu"ed are descn·bed individually, and so are the solutions meanwhile applied to overcome these problems. The service experience gained until now may altogether be evaluated positively. The problem of transferring of the test results to insulators of other designs and matenals is pointed out; this could be eliminated by creating standardized test programs. Additional tasks in this respect are mentioned.
