Abstract

The article talks about improving quality of medical compliance in health facilities in the U.S. As stated, the Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Act of 2005 provides for the development of patient safety organizations (PSOs) as a means of allowing health care organizations to share quality data to improve the quality of patient care. It is reported that PSOs work to improve quality and compliance. They improve quality by promoting a safety culture to protect patient safety data.
