Anhand des Ablaufs einer Fräsbearbeitung werden die Anwendungspotentiale dieser neuen Technologien aufgezeigt. Benefits of gentelligent components: The physical separation of component and corresponding information of production systems contradicts the successful implementation of new approaches for adaptive manufacturing planning, condition-based maintenance or online process-monitoring. This deficit is overcome by gentelligent components with enhanced capabilities in terms of part-inherent information storage and load measurement. Using a milling machining process, the benefits of these novel enabling technologies are depicted.
