Abstract
Soft computing is a branch of computer science that utilizes approximations to find imprecise solutions to complex problems. Soft computing techniques are tolerant of imprecision, uncertainty, partial truth, and approximations, and are characterized by their tractability, robustness, and low solution cost. The impact of soft computing in medical diagnosis cannot be overemphasized. A large number of soft computing methods have been successfully applied for diseases diagnosis and prediction.
