Abstract
As individuals age, they encounter a multitude of challenges
that can impact their mental health and well-being. However,
not all older adults experience mental health decline at the
same rate. Resilience, the ability to adapt and bounce back
from adversity, plays a crucial role in maintaining mental
health as people age. Understanding the protective factors
that contribute to resilience and implementing effective
intervention approaches can significantly enhance the mental
health outcomes of aging populations 1-3.
