The Internet usage has been growing significantlyover the years. Following this trend, collaborative learning toolssuch as Wikis are becoming increasingly popular. The rise doesnot respect any social, age, ethnic barriers or those imposedby physical disabilities, including visual. This work presentspossibilities for collaboration and challenges to be overcomeby visual impaired people interacting with a Wiki environmentcalled DVWiki. Based on a controlled experiment conducted witha group of users, the paper outlines an analysis and conclusionswith regards to the tool by considering its collaborative features.
