Several works have been reported which discussed the detailed design and use of different piezoelectric materials to harvest energy from vibration. In the smart city context there are many opportunities to convert mechanical to electrical such as human motion, sounds, machines and streets. Researchers have studied the factors that affect the amount of the output generated power from various sources to determine its efficiency. Effect of harvester structure, material that is used in fabricating the harvester mobility of human in its location, and other factors have been studied. Efficiency of piezoelectric harvesters is an essential parameter to judge the performance of the prototype for the betterment of energy resources.
