The job satisfaction of teachers particularly at the secondary level is very vital. The methodology is survey type and 300 secondary level school teachers from Dhanbad district were selected for the study. This suggests that a supportive environment can serve as a buffer or mitigating factor against the potential negative impact of workload on job satisfaction. When teachers feel supported, valued, and have access to resources, it can help them cope with the demands of their workload and enhance their overall job satisfaction.
