Knowledge Regarding Covid 19 and Its Preventive Measures among Higher Secondary Students in Selected School, Thrissur

Abstract
An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure SARS CoV 2 belongs to the larger family of RNA viruses, leading to infections, ranging from the common cold to more serious diseases. Since the WHO affirmed COVID 19 as a pandemic, recommended outbreak infection control measures are being globally employed. Measures to prevent person to person transmission were widely implemented. Considering this fact, a descriptive study was conducted with an aim to assess the knowledge regarding COVID 19 and its preventive measures among higher secondary students in selected school, Thrissur. 60 samples were selected by using convenience sampling technique. The result showed that 43 73 had moderate knowledge, whereas 9 15 has adequate knowledge and only 8 13 had inadequate knowledge regarding COVID 19 and its preventive measures. Mrs. Nixy Francis.
