Abstract
In aging communities worldwide, mental health concerns are
often overshadowed by physical health issues, contributing
to a pervasive stigma surrounding mental illness. This stigma
can prevent older adults from seeking the support and care
they need, leading to underdiagnosis, undertreatment, and
unnecessary suffering. To combat this stigma and promote
mental well-being among the elderly, it is crucial to
implement strategies that prioritize education, support, and
destigmatization
