Based on this, this paper discussed the implications of sit at home order on Basic school education in south east geo-political zone of Nigeria. Among other things discussed included the concept of sit at home order, reasons for sit at home order, concept of basic education and implication of sit at home order on Basic school education in south east geo-political zone of Nigeria. The paper concluded by recommending that the government should address all issues responsible for insecurity in the south east zone political zone of Nigeria.
