Ext2 Installable File System For Windows
What's unique about this software?
It provides Windows NT4.0/2000/XP/2003/Vista/2008 with full access to Linux Ext2 volumes (read access and write access). This may be useful if you have installed both Windows and Linux as a dual boot environment on your computer.
The "Ext2 Installable File System for Windows" software is freeware.
DRBD® refers to block devices designed as a building block to form high availability (HA) clusters. This is done by mirroring a whole block device via an assigned network. DRBD can be understood as network based raid-1.
In the illustration above, the two orange boxes represent two servers that form an HA cluster. The boxes contain the usual components of a Linux™ kernel: file system, buffer cache, disk scheduler, disk drivers, TCP/IP stack and network interface card (NIC) driver. The black arrows illustrate the flow of data between these components.
The orange arrows show the flow of data, as DRBD mirrors the data of a high availably service from the active node of the HA cluster to the standby node of the HA cluster.
SwitchPipe is a proof of concept "Web application server" or, more accurately, a Web application process manager and request proxy. Backend Web applications are loaded into their own processes, making SwitchPipe language agnostic. HTTP requests are proxied at the TCP level using information extracted from the headers to establish which backend application is being demanded.
SyncBack is our freeware program that helps you easily backup and synchronize your files to: the same drive; a different drive or medium (CDRW, CompactFlash, etc); an FTP server; a Network; or a Zip archive.
PyGeo is most fundamentally a framework for the creation of dynamic geometric constructions - i.e. constructions which embody defined and persistent geometric relationships responsive to real time on-screen interactivity.
PyGeo is, further, an implementation of this underlying abstract framework - exposing a range of geometric objects as the building blocks for virtual, dynamic geometric constructions.
The focus is away from Euclidian geometry and metrics, and toward later geometric and mathematical developments - particularly those connected with projective geometry of real space, and the geometry of complex numbers on the plane and on the unit (Riemann) sphere.
Geomview is an interactive 3D viewing program for Unix. Geomview lets you view and manipulate three-dimensional objects: you use the mouse to rotate, translate, zoom in and out, and so on. Geomview can be used as a standalone viewer for static objects or as a display engine for other programs which produce dynamically changing geometry. Geomview can display objects described in a variety of file formats. Geomview comes with a wide selection of example objects, and you can create your own objects too.
Until now three-dimensional geometry was difficult to teach – the complexity of designs in perspective, models that are difficult and time-consuming to construct… Cabri 3D is the only program that enables you to alleviate these construction difficulties and that also contains the benefits of interactive geometry.
OpenEuclide is a 2D geometry software: figures are defined dynamically by describing formal geometrical constraints. This project is a basic tool for educational or modeling purpose. It is distributed under the GNU GPL licence, free and multi-platform (up to now, GNU and windows).
KSEG is a Free (GPL) interactive geometry program for exploring Euclidean geometry. It runs on Unix-based platforms (according to users, it also compiles and runs on Mac OS X and should run on anything that Qt supports). You create a construction, such as a triangle with a circumcenter, and then, as you drag verteces of the triangle, you can see the circumcenter moving in real time. Of course, you can do a lot more than that--see the feature list below.
KGeo is a program for interactive Geometry just like programs such as Euklid, Zirkel und Lineal or Kseg. It was my wish to write an open source version of this software that is free for schools and combines the best of both (all) worlds.
Kig is a program for exploring geometric constructions.
It is meant as a better replacement for such free programs as KGeo, KSeg and Dr. Geo and commercial programs like Cabri.
This program is an interactive geometry software with proof related features.
The project consist in producing an interactive proof software for geometry.
GeoProof can communicate with the Coq proof assistant to perform automatic and interactive proofs of geometry theorems.
The dynamic mathematics software establishes new ways of teaching and learning mathematics. It offers opportunities of visualisation that can't be realised on paper or blackboard and with traditional construction tools.
The Geometer's Sketchpad is a dynamic construction, demonstration, and exploration tool that adds a powerful dimension to the study of mathematics. You and your students can use this software program to build and investigate mathematical models, objects, figures, diagrams, and graphs.
Geometry Expressions is the first geometry software package that allows you to interact with your figure numerically and symbolically. This symbolic interaction brings together geometry and algebra for the first time in an interactive geometry system.
GeoGebra is a free interactive geometry software for education in schools. Its creator, Markus Hohenwarter, started the project in 2001 at the University of Salzburg and is continuing it at Florida Atlantic University. GeoGebra is written in Java and thus available for multiple platforms.
What is GCLC? GCLC (from "Geometry Constructions->LaTeX converter") is a tool for visualizing and teaching geometry, and for producing mathematical illustrations. Its basic purpose is converting descriptions of mathematical objects (written in the GCL language) into digital figures. GCLC provides easy-to-use support for many geometrical constructions, isometric transformations, conics, and parametric curves. The basic idea behind GCLC is that constructions are formal procedures, rather than drawings. Thus, in GCLC, producing mathematical illustrations is based on "describing figures" rather than of "drawing figures". This approach stresses the fact that geometrical constructions are abstract, formal procedures and not figures. A figure can be generated on the basis of abstract description, in the Cartesian model of a plane. These digital figures can be displayed and exported to LaTeX files (or some other format). WinGCLC is the Windows version of GCLC and provides a range of additional functionalities.
Dr. Geo II is a complete rewrite of Dr. Geo 1.1 GTK for the Squeak/Smalltalk environment. Dr. Geo is a project of the OFSET, Organisation for Free Software in Education and Teaching.
Eukleides is a Euclidean geometry drawing language. Two softwares are related to it. First, eukleides, a compiler which allows to typeset geometric figures within a (La)TeX document. This program is also useful to convert such figures in EPS format or in various other vector graphic formats. Second, xeukleides, a GUI front-end which makes possible to create interactive geometric figures. This program is also useful to edit and tune some Eukleides code.
CaRMetal is based on C.a.R. : it includes all of its functionalities - or almost - but follows a different approach from the graphical interface point of view. It's not just a different design - which would not make sense - but instead it gives another way to reach functionnalities.

This text describes how VMware Command Line Tools communicates with the VMware running on the host machine. Apparently the official VMware-Tools uses the same method.
MultiTail lets you view one or multiple files like the original tail program. The difference is that it creates multiple windows on your console (with ncurses). It can also monitor wildcards: if another file matching the wildcard has a more recent modification date, it will automatically switch to that file. That way you can, for example, monitor a complete directory of files. Merging of 2 or even more logfiles is possible. It can also use colors while displaying the logfiles (through regular expressions), for faster recognition of what is important and what not. It can also filter lines (again with regular expressions). It has interactive menus for editing given regular expressions and deleting and adding windows. One can also have windows with the output of shell scripts and other software. When viewing the output of external software, MultiTail can mimic the functionality of tools like 'watch' and such.
For a complete list of features, look here.
LiveTribe is a community effort to provide state-of-the-art management and monitoring tools, available for download and distribution under the open source Apache License 2.0.
The goal of the LiveTribe project is to simplify the life of the application developers and operational users, by eliminating the complexity and overhead of deploying and maintaining multiple management and monitoring tools (one for each application).
Instead, the LiveTribe project provides an easily customisable and extensible plug-in architecture where management and monitoring capabilities for the most commonly-used applications (such as Jetty , Tomcat , Geronimo , etc.) are provided, and where custom functionality can be added easily.
LiveTribe leverages the most popular standards for management/monitoring technologies, including JMX ( Java Management Extensions ), ARM ( Application Response Measurement ) and SLP ( Service Location Protocol ).
The LiveTribe project is composed of modules (see the list of modules on the left).
Each module implements the specific portion of the LiveTribe project and most of the time can be downloaded and used separately from other modules.
CuteFlow is a webbased document circulation tool. Users are able to define "documents" which are send step by step to every station/user in a list.
It's an electronical way for doing (i.e. internal) document circulations.
A document can be assembled from input fields that could be filled by the receiver of the document. So after a completed circulation you will have a completely filled document. Also Attachments to the document are possible (i.e. for illustration material).
