Russia Post: April 20, 2024
In this essay, journalist Leonid Ragozin argues that calls for “decolonizing” Russia play into the hands of the Kremlin’s anti-Western propaganda by evoking the fear of civil war – the same fear that makes Russians tacitly support Putin’s aggression in Ukraine.

A defeat for Ukraine would usher in a new era of fear in the whole Euro-Atlantic area, as Putin continues his drive to rebuild the Soviet empire, writes Boris Johnson.
"It will be a turning point in history, the moment when the West finally loses its post-war hegemony, the moment when borders everywhere are suddenly up for grabs and aggression is seen to pay — and all because of a failure to stand up for Ukraine."

ALERT MEMORANDUM FOR: The President
FROM: Veteran Intelligence Professionals For Sanity
SUBJECT: On The Brink Of Nuclear War
Michael von der Schulenburg was a former Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations and worked for over 34 years in many war zones around the world in a leading role in UN peace missions. He is candidate for the Bündnis Sahrah Wagenknecht at the forthcoming European Elections [9,6,]
This could have been the European Union’s hour to take greater responsibility in showing a peaceful way out of the Ukraine war. After all, it was unresolved conflicts in Europe that caused humanity to descend into the catastrophe of two World Wars. Europe should not again be the source of such a human disaster and therefore accept it historic responsibility by taking a reconciliatory approach to the Ukraine war. After all, this is the first war in human history in which nuclear arms play a strategic role and any miscalculation could bring an apocalypse on humankind that is unimaginably greater than anything we know from the two World Wars.
Studying medicine in Ukraine offers international recognition, but verifying specific university accreditations is essential. Adapting to a new culture and language fosters personal growth, though language barriers exist. Independence develops from being away from home, and exposure to a different healthcare system broadens understanding. Cultural diversity enriches the learning experience, despite initial challenges. Adjusting to new teaching methods enhances flexibility. With a proactive mindset, students can turn challenges into opportunities for personal and professional growth in their Ukrainian study experience.
George Beebe I referat av en podcast) : "We have to negotiate for an all-new security system for Europe, taking into account all sides of this problem. Russia does not feel itself to be secure. And we can laugh about this and say that we never had an aggressive approach towards Russia, but Russians think so. And they are ready to kill for..."

For more than a decade, the United States has nurtured a secret intelligence partnership with Ukraine that is now critical for both countries in countering Russia.
The Perace Formula of Pres. Zelensky contained in "Speech by the President of Ukraine at the General Debate of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly 22 September 2022":
"So, all five items of our formula:
punishment for aggression;
protection of life;
restoration of security and territorial integrity;
security guarantees;
and determination to defend oneself.
This is the formula of crime and punishment, which is already well known to Russia. And this is the formula of justice and law and order that Russia has yet to learn. As well as any other potential aggressors.
What is not in our formula? Neutrality."

MOSCOW, Jan 23 (Reuters) - The Baltic Sea port of Ust-Luga was exporting crude oil and fuel on Tuesday apart from at Novatek's (NVTK.MM)
, opens new tab terminal which remained closed after being damaged by fire, according to data from LSEG and industry sources.
Novatek said on Sunday it had been forced to suspend some operations at the huge Baltic Sea fuel export terminal and "technological processes" at its fuel-producing complex due to a fire, started by what Ukrainian media said was a drone attack.
Analysts believe it will take weeks to restart large-scale operations at the complex and the terminal.
The giant port of Ust-Luga, located on the Gulf of Finland about 170 km (110 miles) west of St. Petersburg, ships a wide range of goods, including oil and gas products, to international markets.
Its facilities include one terminal for crude oil exports and three terminals for handling fuel shipments, including Novatek's terminal.
According to LSEG data, 5.2 million tons of naphtha were shipped to Asia in 2023 from the port of Ust-Luga, of which 2.8 million tons originated from Novatek's terminal.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken is pressuring European diplomats to cease any talks about Ukraine joining NATO, according to a member of Rada (the Ukrainian parliament), Oleksiy Goncharenko. This is no minor politician. The son of a former Odessa mayor, he is a member of the Ukrainian Permanent Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE). The allegations were publicly made in a series of texts posted in his Telegram channel (in Ukrainian). He wrote: “Unfortunately, there will be no NATO [for Ukraine]. Forget about it – it won’t happen.” Goncharenko claims that “several sources” in Washington told him the topic of Ukraine’s accession to the Atlantic Alliance “annoys the US elite” and even “after war” the country should not expect it.

The Real History of the War in Ukraine: A Chronology of Events and Case for Diplomacy
By Jeffrey D. Sachs * – The Kennedy Beacon
