Abstract
We Introduce a new method, using Ion-selectlve membrane
electrodes, for the measurement of Immunoagents. The
method Involves the use of marker loaded, sensltlzed sheep
red blood cell ghosts to produce potentlal changes In response
to varylng levels of antlbody or complement. The release of
marker Ion from the cell ghosts, as monitored with the
membrane electrode, Is shown to be a sensltlve measure of
the concentrations of antlbody or complement under controlled
condltlons.
