Abstract

A polygraphic study of 63 children of the 1st and 2nd year of age with child cerebral paralysis and a convulsive syndrome in 17 detected focal changes of the EEG, mainly in the central and parietal areas. The detection of the focus in many cases depended upon the phase and stage of sleep and could correspond to certain states (mainly--slow sleep, sometimes to rapid sleep, sometimes--intermediary stage). The mechanisms of these phenomena are discussed.
