Abstract
This paper describes the educational environment for an interactive Fluid Mechanics course developed using a web based authoring systeml This project is led by the LMF2 and LITH3 at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Lausanne, in order to provide an effective and innovative support to traditional teaching. The complete course environment already created by LMF, will be evaluated along the spring semester 1999 in a class of 40 students to assess the effectivity of the system. The web based course aims at finding the pedagogical added value in the use of NICT (New Information and Communication Technology) in the learning process.
