Аннотация
One of the most important questions in education research, at least from a policy perspective, is whether increasing the level of resourcing in schools will lead to improved student outcomes. This study considers this question in the context of students' attainment at Key Stage 3 in English secondary schools. The main findings from this study are that there are indeed positive marginal resource effects on attainment but they are rather small and subject-specific.
