Abstract
The samples of Cu Zn Al Fe O ferrite system with (x = 0.0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 0.6 0.4 x 2-x 4 and 1.0) were prepared by the usual doubled sintering conventional ceramic 0 technique. The powder samples were annealed at 900 C for 24 hours and the 0 samples were pressed into pellets of 10mm diameter are sintered at 1100 C for 36 hours. The samples were studied by means of X-ray diffraction. The X-ray analysis showed that all the samples had single-phase cubic spinel structure. 2+ 2+ 3+ The variation of lattice constant with Cu , Zn and Al concentration deviates
from Vegard's law. The cation distribution estimated from X-ray intensity ratio 2+ 3+ 2+ calculations suggest that, Zn ions occupies tetrahedral (A) site and Al , Cu ions at octahedral B sites..
