± 800kV DC transmission line from Yunnan to Guangdong is the highest voltage level of the DC
transmission lines in our country It is very important to carry out electromagnetic environment testing
and analysis as this can verify preliminary research and therefore guide later project. This paper
analyzes the total electric field characteristic, and calculates the electric field distribution of YunGuang
transmission lines under different heights and respectively organize measurement during
system debugging and running such as haif-voltage operation of negative debugging of negative, fullvoltage
operation of negative, as well as full-voltage operation of bipolar. Based on the measurement
data, this paper analyzes the influence of electric field with different operation modes, weather
conditions, and altitude. At last ,The data result shows that the total electric field strength of ±800kV
Yun-Guang DC transmission line meets the limit requirements.
