Abstract

In this paper, we study stochastic performance bounds of a Generalized Processor Sharing (GPS) scheduler fed by two leaky bucket regulated on-off traffic sources. Following a decomposition approach, we propose a virtual system of leaky buckets from which we are able to derive both upper and lower bounds on the queue length distribution, as well as stochastic upper bound on the delay of each session.
