Student awareness of reference services in a liberal arts college library

. Library Quarterly, (1986)

Abstract

The study aimed to ascertain the extent to which students at the Donnelley Library, Lake Forest College, Illinois, were aware of existing reference services. A stratified, random sample of Lake Forest students were interviewed in spring 82. Overall, their awareness was found to be relatively high, yet there was indication that some of the services would be more heavily used if students knew that they were offered.
