The papers covered in this section show that
we are at a turning point in the development of the
subject. No longer do we see accounts of dire
effects on men, animals and plants, none properly
documented or tied to known physical laws. On the
contrary, we have reports originating from reputable
scientific institutions which give quantitative
measurements of effects of induction and show how,
where necessary, these effects can be mitigated.
