The major aim of the present study was to study the mental health among pre-university college students. The sample consists of 200 (100 Boys and females) pre-university college students chosen from Gulbarga district Karnataka on whom the Mental
health inventory was administered. After scoring the data were subjected to t-test. The
results revealed that there is significant difference in mental health between the Rural and
Urban college students and there is significant difference in mental health between the
science and arts college students. The study also revealed significant gender differences
in the mental health.
