Аннотация
Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) sheets are used as externally
bonded reinforcement for concrete structures to improve flexural
and shear strength and confinement of concrete. The bond between
CFRP sheets and concrete is important. It is the means for the transfer
of stress between the concrete and CFRP in order to develop composite
action. An experimental investigation was conducted in order to determine
the effect of bonded length, concrete strength, and number of plies
(stiffness) of CFRP sheets on bond. An analytical model was developed
using this experimental data. The model is briefly discussed in terms
of its application to design.
