The organization of employment relations: Intergrating sociological and economic approaches
A. Kalleberg, und T. Reve. Scandinavian Journal of Management, 8 (4):
301-319(1992)
Zusammenfassung
This paper presents a model of employment relations that integrates insights from sociological and economic perspectives. The model describes how economic/technical and social/ political conditions produce differences in the amount of autonomy and control that employees have over their work activities. We illustrate the empirical utility of this model using data from a national sample of Norwegian work organizations and their employees. The results indicate that autonomy/ control is related both to technical aspects of work and to social and political relations between employers and employees.
