The main objective of this paper is to evaluate the performance of various ad-hoc networks routing protocols viz. DSDV (Destination Sequence Distance Vector), DSR (Dynamic Source Routing) and AODV (Ad-hoc On Demand Distance Vector). The comparison of these protocols is based on different performance metrics, which are throughput, packet delivery ratio, routing overheads, packet drop and average end to end delay. The performance evaluation has been done by using simulation tool NS2 (Network Simulator) which is the main simulator.
