Аннотация

Purpose: This study aims to analyze the intellectual structure of knowledge in information retrieval based on Co-Word Analysis.Methodology: As an applied bibliometrics study, the research uses co-word analysis and clustering techniques. The research data consist of information retrieval articles which were indexed in the Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts (LISTA) database during 1967-2018. RavarpreMAP, bibExcel, SPSS, VOSviewer were used for analysis.Findings: The results showed that the keywords “information storage and retrieval systems”, and the co-word pair of the “Website and World Wide Web”, ranked first in terms of frequency and co-occurred. The Use of hierarchical cluster analysis by Ward’s method led to the creation of 13 topical clusters such as: information organization and knowledge management, ontology and machine learning, university library and access to the Ward method let to the creation of 13 topical clusters such as information organization and knowledge management, ontology and machine learning, university library and access to information. Conclusion: The results showed that recent advances in technology and information services have led to the fields of digital libraries, social networks, medicine, natural language processing, artificial intelligence, image retrieval, among the topics of interest in information retrieval studies in recent decades.
