Zusammenfassung

erhead transmission lines, it is quite important to prevent accidents caused by galloping and sleet jump phenomena of snow and/or ice covered conductors since the accidents sometimes may lead to phase-short circuit and also mechanical failures of conductors and/or insulator assemblies. It has been known that phase-to-phase spacers are quite effective but the practical application is quite limited to transmission lines of 77 kV and below so far, since there are ~any technical subjects to be solved. Under such a circumstance, we challenged to study on possibility in further application of The spacers and developed the 275 kV spacer and established rational desing concept for the spacer for 275 kV transmission lines.
