This paper proposes a more appropriate and accurate translation of the dialogue between Jesus and the Samaritan woman using proper Korean addressee honorifics from a feminist perspective. The translation process from biblical Greek into languages with honorifics is complex, not only for Korean but also for many other Asian languages. Äddressee honorifics" refers to the pattern indicating in speech-forms the honor that speakers attribute to the person they are addressing. Source: Author
