Abstract
Working sex ratio is an important in population geography. Already widely established is the finding of an employment of huge volume of agriculture labours on large holdings owned by landlord’s agriculture castes, which live on the earning from their land not cultivated by themselves. The sex based segmentation of the agriculture labour is further controlled by specific agronomic practices involved in the growing of certain crops in particular areas. It is clear, therefore, that the employment of female
agriculture labours in controlled by a large number of significant social, economic, agronomic, and cultural factors which are simultaneously expressive of a part of the varying characteristics of the area. In study region working sex ratio was 532 during 1961
decade. According to 2001 census female working sex ratio was 650 in study region. The highest working female ratio has been shown in Karmala (789).Key Words:- Working sex Ratio, Rank, Highest, Lowest Ratio.
