The significant idea is how Indian culture is interlinked and part of composite culture .How it reflects and has impact on cultural values and many segments of Indian society including food. Here it is discussed about the way composite culture is associated with religion, art, music, architecture   ,clothing ,languages , festivals and mainly cuisine in our society. It also describes its presence not only in modern time but also in ancient and medieval time .Bhakti movement and Sufism are two avenues of composite culture. Various influences are mentioned like commerce   ,trade ,conquest which helped and resulted to form the unique food culture of today. In spite of so much of diversity and variety the common thread is India's unity and harmony in Indian food.  If we have to take these thread ahead in future and resolve some related issues ,we have to understand and learn about composite culture , its impact and its significance.
