Abstract
The generalized multilayer Stolt migration (MULSM) method is applied to the target imaging of gradually varying oblique layers. The generalized MULSM, a technique which was developed recently, can be applied to an obliquely layered geometry by taking into account the refraction between layers. Related equations for the method are presented and applied to a GPR simulation. The images refocused by the proposed method are shown to match the actual target position and shape.
