Abstract
An object oriented programming code has been developed to simulate the brownian dynamics of d-dimensional hard hypersphere systems using the Langevin equation, Gaussian random forces and prediction of collisions to perform the evolution of the the system. Preliminary results in 3, 5 and 7 dimensions are used to obtain the structural properties and validate the algorithm by comparison with semiempirical expressions for the excess compressibility factor. Initially we deal with one-component systems in the previously mentioned dimensions. The possibility to obtain transport properties, modelling brownian dynamics in still higher dimensions or even multicomponent mixtures of d-dimensional additive hard spheres will be examined.
