Zusammenfassung

The paper proposes a genetic programming approach to the modelling of the assembly of the basic components (cells) into an integrated (whole) organism. The concept is based on the simulation of self-organising uniting of live cells into tissues, organs and individuals. The assembly is treated as the basic and general principle, therefore, the basic cells can be very different. Assembling takes place on the basis of the genetic content in the basic components and is influenced by the environmental conditions. The genetic content can be topological, geometrical, technological, ecological, economical, etc. The simulation of the self-organizing genetic assembly of the variant product consisting of many basic components is given. The basic feature of genetic assembly is that it takes place in a distributed, nondeterministical, bottom-up, and self-organising manner.
