booktitle = {Workshop on Advanced Separation of Concerns},
description = {The author explains that dividing concerns into aspects is a good thing, but that the interactions between aspects can lead to a tangled implementation in the source code. In order to understand the relationship between aspects better the author introduces a framework which allows the characterizations of different dimensions of aspectualization.
The author explains the problem of tangles aspects by the means of an example. After this, a tree-shaped framework is introduced for the characterization of an aspect. The framework can be used for documentation purposes , but does not illustrate the need for tight integration of aspects. An example of this topic is given in the language gbeta, after which the support for aspects in gbeta is characterized in the proposed framework.},
