The continuous monitoring of this parameter allows to find the correlation between the patient’s position in bed and the risk of the Ventilator Associated Pneumonia (VAP), a very serious problem in therapy of critically ill patients. Recorder might be be an important tool to evaluate the “care bundles” – sets of preventive procedures recommended for treatment of patients in the ICU.
