EPE, a quarterly journal, publishes research and review articles in all important aspects of electric power engineering and other professionals involved in the electric power industry. Both experimental and theoretical papers are acceptable provided they report important findings, novel insights, or useful techniques in these areas.
EPE aims to strengthen relations between the energy sector, research laboratories, and universities. All manuscripts submitted to EPE must be previously unpublished and may not be considered for publication elsewhere at any time during EPE's review period.
A new mechanism for focusing light on small areas of photovoltaic material could make solar power in residential and commercial applications cheaper than electricity from the grid in most markets in the next few years. Initial systems, which can be made a
Synthetic dyes similar to chlorophyll and hemoglobin will generate electricity from solar cells at 1/10th the cost of normal silicon-based photovoltaic cells.
