Eclipse HTTP Client (HTTP4e) is an Eclipse plugin for making HTTP and RESTful calls. Build with user experience in mind, it simplifies the developer/QA job of testing Web Services, REST, JSON and HTTP. It is a useful tool for your daily job of HTTP header tampering and hacking.
Representational state transfer (REST) was introduced in early 2000 by Roy Fielding's doctoral dissertation. However, in the Java community, it was not standardized until JSR 311(JAX-RS) was finalized in 2008. The first release of its reference implementation is even later. In this article, I introduce Jersey, which is the reference implementation of JSR 311, by describing its essential APIs and annotations. I'll also show you how you can smoothly transfer from servlet-style services to RESTful services by integrating Jersey into Apache Tomcat.

scalaxb-appengine is a RESTful API to run scalaxb over the web. It's implemented using n8han/Unfiltered and the full source is available on eed3si9n/scalaxb-appengine.
scalaxb-appengine came into being because I didn't know how to deploy a command line application written in Scala. Greg kindly suggested that I turn scalaxb into a web service, so I did. I guess I always thought about the possibility of making it into a web app, but this gave me a perfect opportunity to seize the moment and write a web app in Scala.

* A web argument resolver for extracting Facebook user ID and access token information in a Spring MVC controller.
The Django REST interface makes it easy to offer private and public APIs for existing Django models. New generic views simplify data retrieval and modification in a resource-centric architecture and provide model data in formats such as XML, JSON and YAML with very little custom code.
