Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) has an outstanding amount of Rs 4 crore on 20 private engineering colleges on account of development fees yet to be paid by them for the last five years despite repeated reminders. The university has now decided to tighten the noose on defaulters while sending them final notices informing to stop affiliation of major defaulters and to deduct number of seats of minor defaulters.
