A new framework has been launched to support the delivery of education and training for staff who work with people living with a learning disability.

The Learning Disabilities Core Skills Education and Training Framework is a comprehensive resource aimed at health and social care staff, developed by Skills for Health, Health Education England and Skills for Care. Setting out the essential skills and knowledge required, the framework aims to support the development and delivery of appropriate and consistent cross-sector education and training.
