Strictly spoken it's a piece of software, simulating the Solar System's bodies in 3D on your Windows or Linux PC (will work in most *NIX's as well). In difference to quite a few other programs it does so in realtime. Meaning you can view all the planets, moons and spaceships move along their paths, trace them, follow them, orbit them and even control them (time and spaceship contol). And you won't have to fight your way through hordes of green, slimey and one-eyed aliens for that ;-)

The <PhotoOverlay> element allows you to geographically locate a photograph on the Earth and to specify viewing parameters for this PhotoOverlay. The PhotoOverlay can be a simple 2D rectangle, a partial or full cylinder, or a sphere (for spherical panoramas). The overlay is placed at the specified location and oriented toward the viewpoint.

PyFacebook is currently best-tested with Django, and if you are just starting out with Python web development, the author highly recommends this combination :-). If you'd rather use another framework, there are also Pylons and other WSGI helpers in PyFacebook as well.
Rocks is an open-source Linux cluster distribution that enables end users to easily build computational clusters, grid endpoints and visualization tiled-display walls. Hundreds of researchers from around the world have used Rocks to deploy their own cluster (see the Rocks Cluster Register).
While working with Aerospace to develop the NPP architecture documentation, NASA realized the Science Data Segment presented novel challenges in terms of ground system design and implementation. NASA asked Aerospace to suggest possible approaches for the Science Data Segment in early 2001. Based on initial architecture definition and requirements, Aerospace recommended an emerging technology known as grid computing (see sidebar, Grid Computing: An Overview). Because of the relative lack of maturity of this approach, Aerospace also recommended the development of a prototype implementation that would allow NASA to investigate key features as it moved to procure the full operational Science Data Segment. This prototype implementation was named the Advanced Data Grid.
In some cases, it may be appropriate to process part of a request synchronously, but to finish processing in a forked child depending on the request data. This can be implemented by using a synchronous server and doing an explicit fork in the request handler class handle() method.
Cython is a language that makes writing C extensions for the Python language as easy as Python itself. Cython is based on the well-known Pyrex, but supports more cutting edge functionality and optimizations.

The OIS – Sensor Summit will be in Dayton, Ohio June 14-15, 2010. On Monday, June 14th the Summit will be held at the Engineers Club of Dayton and will be a day of sensor talks. One session will highlight the work of Research Scholars hired as part of the Ohio Academic Research Cluster for Layer Sensing (OARCLS). On Tuesday, June 15th the OIS-Sensor Summit will be a field day where current members of IDCAST and OARCLS will demonstrate their technology. This event will be held at IDCAST and around Dayton’s Tech Town 2020 location.
