In this thesis, we present a tool, named UPADE to formalize the visual presentation of HCI patterns and their relationships for the purpose of developing pattern-oriented designs. The tool develops a structural composition approach to browse, search, and edit a repository of HCI patterns stored into namely the Pattern view, the Design view, and the Code View.
