Implications for practice and research
As the available evidence supports the effectiveness of digitally delivered and home-based physical exercises (DHE) to promote healthy ageing, healthcare practitioners (eg, family doctors and nurses) should encourage older adults to use such digital tools.
Further research is necessary to gain a more nuanced understanding of factors that influences the effectiveness of DHE.
