Der Historische Verein für Schwaben gehört zu den traditionsreichen historischen Vereinen auf Ebene der Regierungsbezirke, die auf Anregung König Ludwigs I. von Bayern in der ersten Hälfte des 19. Jahrhunderts gegründet wurden. Der seit 1834 bestehende Verein gab nach mehreren Vorläufern ab 1874 die „Zeitschrift des Historischen Vereins für Schwaben und Neuburg“ heraus, die seit 1941 nur noch „Zeitschrift des Historischen Vereins für Schwaben“ heißt. Die Zeitschrift enthält Aufsätze zur Geschichte des gesamten bayerischen Schwaben, allerdings mit einem deutlichen Fokus auf die Stadtgeschichte von Augsburg. Schöllhorn, Katharina. - Bachelorarbeit HdM. - Normdaten sind nicht nur bibliothekarische Arbeitsmittel, sie bilden auch die Grundlage für unterschiedliche Sucheinstiege in Onlinekatalogen. Mit dieser Rolle beschäftigt sich die vorliegende Arbeit. Im Einführungsteil werden einige Rahmenbedingungen zu Onlinekatalogen und Normdateien erläutert. Die anschließend betrachteten Benutzeranalysen geben nicht nur Einblick in das Rechercheverhalten mit Normdaten, sondern zeigen auch typische Fehlerquellen auf. Im Anschluss daran werden Anwendungsbeispiele vorgestellt, um zu illustrieren, wie sich der Zugang und die Recherche mit Normdaten im Onlinekatalog für Nutzer zurzeit gestalten. Zuletzt werden verschiedene Möglichkeiten und Anwendungen betrachtet, die neue Entwicklungschancen für Normdaten in Onlinekatalogen liefern.
Kaintz, Kathy. - Bachelorarbeit HdM. - In dieser Arbeit werden Internetangebote mit digital dargebotenen mittelalterlichen Handschriften in Bezug auf ihre Darstellung und Funktionalitäten überprüft. Dazu wurden fünf Projekte aus vier verschiedenen Ländern Europas ausgewählt. Deutschland wird repräsentiert durch die Universitätsbibliothek Heidelberg und die Bayerische Staatsbibliothek, Österreich durch die Universitätsbibliothek Graz, die Schweiz durch die Stiftsbibliothek St. Gallen und England durch die Oxford University Libraries. Dabei werden die einzelnen Projekte vorgestellt, das Angebot analysiert und Kooperationen mit unterschiedlichen Institutionen erläutert. Abschließend findet ein Vergleich der Präsentationen statt.
