Аннотация
The rationale of simulation as a method to accelerate
learning in industrial management is presented. The
critical requirements for the use of simulation: the validity of the models, and of the learning environment and learning process as a whole are discussed. The differences of computational and conceptual simulation models are put forward, as well as the idea to combine them in simulation games. The role of information and communication technology in the development of innovative learning environments and learning processes is discussed. The individual simulation applications of each article of the Issue are briefly introduced, divided into teaching applications
and process development applications.
