Der Fachinformationsdienst Buch-, Bibliotheks- und Informationswissenschaft (FID BBI) wird seit Oktober 2017 in einem Kooperationsprojekt der Herzog August Bibliothek Wolfenbüttel und der Universitätsbibliothek Leipzig aufgebaut und richtet sich an Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftler der beteiligten sowie angrenzenden Disziplinen. Ziel des Fachinformationsdienstes ist die bedarfsorientierte Versorgung der Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftler der assoziierten Disziplinen mit Spezialliteratur und forschungsrelevanten Informationen.
