El Rector de la Universidad de Chile planteó sus reparos a la propuesta del ministerio de Salud de suprimir el Examen Único Nacional de Conocimientos de Medicina (Eunacom), "es inaceptable en momentos en que los Tribunales de Justicia están investigando delitos vinculados a acreditaciones de universidades privadas”, sostuvo.
Cerca de 16 mil millones de pesos habrían recibido por Crédito con Aval del Estado (CAE) las tres universidades privadas no tradicionales que fueron formalizadas como personas jurídicas por supuesto soborno.
En la próxima sesión de los universitarios a realizarse el 1 de junio en la Universidad Alberto Hurtado, se determinará la cantidad de voceros y cómo serán elegidos, pero desde ya, dirigentes lo califican como "un gran paso".
